THE CPAAD mission

It simple. our mission is to provide a platform for young people who have an interest in music and/or the music industry. In the same way that Predz veered away from negative lifestyle choices, we wish to do the same for young people in the uk, developing their music skills, but also their knowledge of the music industry and the different roles accessible within it.

CPAAD Project's Founder, Kevin Muyulu AKA Predz.

Kevin Muyulu, also known as Predz (formerly Predz UK) is a nationally recognised recording artist and DJ, born and raised in North West London on the St. Raphael’s estate. Hailing from Congolese heritage, his love for music began in church where he began drumming at the age of 11.

Like most kids growing up in this part of northwest London, Predz found it difficult to find opportunities to feed his interest in music, but he honed his skills on the playground at school and in his local youth centres, and by the age of 16 his knowledge and passion had grown and he was producing, recording and releasing his own music as well as MCing/Djing on local pirate radio stations in London with friends.

During this time, he also transitioned from youth to youth worker, and now has over 10 years of experience mentoring young people as well as supporting families in his local community.

C.P.A.A.D.  is an abbreviation for the term, “Couple Pounds And A Dream”. Being an inspiring musician coming from a disadvantaged community meant that Predz had to be resilient and resourceful, and the term became his mantra to remind him to hold faith when times were tough and resources were hard to come by.

The CPAAD Project hopes to be a platform that motivates and educates young people to further their interest in music.

Today, he has:
